Baptism

Grace Church welcomes all persons desiring Baptism to receive the sacrament here at Grace. We are excited to welcome the newly baptized and their family into our community and the Body of Christ! Baptism is a communal event where the community of faith welcomes and promises to support the newly baptized.

We offer Baptism on significant Sundays in the Church’s calendar year. The list at right includes those dates for the upcoming program year.

We ask that the baptismal candidate, their parents (for children), and their sponsors (Godparents) attend a preparation class and rehearsal. We will arrange the timing and location of this discussion before the date of the baptism. This conversation is a chance for us to learn more about one another and the meanings and symbolism of Baptism.

If you have any questions about Baptism at Grace Church, please reach out to the clergy.

If you are seeking Baptism in an emergency situation, please call the parish office, (314) 821-1806, to reach the Priest on call.
