Gospel of Mark

The season of Lent is nearly upon us. While this past year may seem like one long Lent, perhaps this presents us with an opportunity of understanding the liturgical Lenten journey even more so than during so-called ‘normal’ times.

The Gospel of Mark has often been called “The Passion narrative with an extended introduction”. Several members of the class have already expressed that this study has made their understanding of our Sunday Gospel Lessons; with their focus on the Gospel of Mark, much more meaningful.
