Our Future
- As a parish community we will strive for a society that reflects God’s hope for the world as we follow Jesus’s teaching and actions.
- We will work to renew and revitalize our community, partnering with people in Kirkwood and the surrounding communities to share our vision and commitment to service.
- With loving inclusion, we will create new opportunities for people of all ages to form meaningful relationships through small groups, nurtured friendships, shared meals, and local projects.
- With hearts open to one another, we will involve members in lively spiritual formation and conversation to express the presence of God in our lives; this will require adding opportunities for Christian education and spiritual formation at every age and stage of life.
- We will help Grace to enhance outreach and build new ministries, with special attention to people who are on the margins of society and/or broken by life circumstances.
- We will make creative changes to established patterns and processes to meet the needs of families with children and youth who come to us seeking to grow in faith.
- We will develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to be radically open to people of all ages and cultural backgrounds and incorporate them into the life of the church where they will feel at home.
- We will build lay leadership and introduce members to new leadership possibilities to be creative, energetic, and forward thinking in moving Grace to meet essential goals.
