Transition Plans

Besides working on the formation of the Discernment Team, your Vestry has also been working on plans for this summer and beyond. We are very excited to announce that Mother Ginny has agreed to continue her role at Grace through Sunday August 28. Having a familiar, caring presence to guide us through the first phase of our transition is a true blessing. Mother Ginny, on behalf of the people of Grace, we appreciate all you have done, and continue to do, as a spiritual leader in our lives.

We have also begun conversations with two individuals, in conjunction with the Diocese, to serve us through the balance of the transition. We look to firm up plans and pen official agreements over the next few weeks. At that point we will have more details to share.

As Bishop Deon has reminded us, now is the time to celebrate Father Todd and his ministry. Please make sure you have June 5 on your calendars to celebrate his last day at Grace. Also, remember that Father Todd has asked for letters remembering special moments you have had with him and your gift of a letter of intent to remember Grace Episcopal Church in perpetuity.
