Church School Begins September 10

Grace's Church School Ministry provides opportunities for children, youth, and families to experience God's love, be inspired by God's word, and be transformed by God's spirit. We offer a caring and safe environment for children and youth to explore their growing faith and experience God's love and grace.

Grace's Sunday School program is open to all children between the ages of 4 and 18. Students meet weekly throughout the school year to explore faith, make friends, and have fun. Classes, led by volunteer members, begin on Sundays at 9:45 am and overlap with the 10 am worship service. Students join their families in worship at the Peace so they may share Holy Communion.

Classes begin September 10 at 9:45 am. Parents with young children should accompany their children to the classrooms on the lower level this morning to meet the teachers and register their children.

Preschool & Elementary School Classes

In preschool through 2nd grade, students will use the Godly Play curriculum to explore their faith through stories, gain religious language, and enhance their spiritual experience through wonder and play. Classes will meet in Room 1 on the lower level. Go down the stairs in the hallway by the parish office and follow the signs.

Older elementary students, 3^rd through 5^th grade, older children will use a lectionary-based curriculum, Mini Revolutions, based on the Revised Common Lectionary we use in church each Sunday. Students will practice the rhythms and experience the seasons of the church year through the revolutions of the liturgical calendar. Classes will meet in Room 5 on the lower level. Go down the stairs in the hallway by the parish office and follow the signs.

Junior & Senior High School Students

Junior High School Youth in 6^th through 8^th grades will also practice the rhythms and experience the seasons of the church year through the revolutions of the liturgical calendar through Mini Revolutions. They also meet for social, community service and worship events.

Senior High School Youth in 9^th through 12^th grades will come together as the Episcopal Youth Community for faith, food, and fun. Students should meet at 9:45 a.m.in the youth room on the second Sunday of each month. They also meet for social, community service, and worship events.

Both classes meet in the Youth Rooms on the lower level. Follow the signs on the lower level to the classrooms.
