Dear Grace Parish Family:

Sabine McDowell was admitted to St. Luke’s Hospital on Tuesday afternoon, 8/24, after testing was done earlier in the week to determine what has been causing her to suffer from a prolonged headache.  It was discovered that there is a dissected blood vessel in Sabine’s neck. There is some blood leakage between the layers of the vessel.  Doctors are treating it with blood thinners to get her blood pressure lower. (She normally has low pressure anyway.)

Todd is back at Grace this afternoon for a scheduled funeral and will be in and out of the office the rest of the week.  He reports that the family does not need anything right now, but he will let us know if that changes.

Sabine is at St. Luke’s in Room 9605.  We will keep the parish updated as more information becomes available.  Please continue your prayers.
