The National Day of Prayer is set for this Thursday, May 6 at noon.

The community observance of the National Day of Prayer has been moved this year from City Hall and/or Station Plaza, where it has been held in the past, to Kirkwood City Park, at the new Lions' pavilion, near the tennis courts.  The organizers hoped it would be less distracted by traffic, trains, etc.  It is a time to come together with fellow believers and pray for our communities, our leaders and our nation.  The activities begin at 12 noon with a prayer service and conclude with an opportunity to pray in small groups with others.

We shall gather a contingent from Grace church and go together.  We will meet at church at 11:40 and go over, bringing a brown bag lunch to picnic afterwards.
