Fellowship Ministries

Grace Episcopal Church offers many ministries dedicated to welcoming new members and providing ongoing fellowship opportunities.

Special Fellowship Events

Special parish events are planned throughout the year to promote fun-loving interaction and appeal to the diverse interests of our community. Plans include the following events:

  • Spring Picnic
  • Summer Social
  • Fall Picnic
  • Foyer Groups
  • Santa Luncheon
Not Just Donuts (coffee hours)

This ministry provides a warm welcome and fellowship in the parish hall each Sunday following both worship services. Volunteers prepare coffee, bring treats and provide set-up. Family teams and individual ministry teams are encouraged to serve as hosts. We welcome all visitors and new members — please come in and say hello!

Grace on the Go

Grace on the Go plans trips to local and regional sites of religious, historical or cultural interest for our members and friends of the parish. Everyone is invited to attend these events.
For more information about this ministry and upcoming events, please contact Christie and Stan Boyle.

Men’s Coffee Hour

The Men’s Coffee group meets every Thursday morning at 7:30 in the LaVielle Meeting Room for pastries, coffee and conversation. The group is open to all members, visitors and men from other local churches.
Contact Wes Proctor for more information.

Greeters

Greeters provide hospitality by welcoming newcomers and all worshipers to our Sunday services.
Contact Chris Kurth or Marty O’Leary for more information.

Women’s Study Group

The Women’s Study Group gathers to read and discuss books in Kean Library every Tuesday morning at 10:00, following our 9:30 Holy Eucharist in Bethlehem Chapel. The group chooses from fiction, non-fiction and spiritual titles and enjoys discussing morals and religious themes in our modern world. The group is also very pastoral among its members and regularly prays for the people of our parish.
All women are welcome to join this group. Contact Jody Walker for more information.

Women of Grace

If you are a woman who attends Grace Church, you are automatically a member of Women of Grace, which is part of the national organization known as Episcopal Church Women (ECW). This group connects all women of the parish to the whole Church through a program  of worship, study, service, gifts and fellowship so that each woman may find her place in the parish and the mission of the Church.
Our programs and charitable contributions are supported through an annual voluntary contribution of $10 per woman. Women of Grace meets monthly from September through May, usually on the second Tuesday of the month. More information is available by contacting Shirley Browne.
