Wednesdays in Lent (Feb. 17, 24; March 2, 9, 16)
Supper at 6 p.m. / Program at 6:30 p.m. / Prayers at 7:45 p.m.

Grace Church is pleased to welcome theologian and author Clint McCann from Eden Seminary as our guest presenter this year. McCann will help us dive deep into the beauty of the Psalms and show us how they touch on issues of contemporary life and faith. We’ll explore themes of repentance and renewal, the grounding of life in God alone, and the inseparability of suffering and glory in the life of the faithful.

Please help us provide our supper each Wednesday by bringing a soup, salad, bread or dessert. Sign-up sheets are in Albright Parish Hall or contact Janis in the church office.

Lenten Lectio Divina

Tuesdays in Lent (February 16, 23; March 1, 8, 15)
4 – 5 p.m. / Chapel of the Apostles

The Rev. Susie Skinner from Confluence: The Center for Spirituality facilitates a group in the ancient practice of lectio divina. This style of prayer, which literally means holy reading, begins with cultivating the ability to listen deeply, to hear “with the ear of our hearts” the words of Holy Scripture. In this contemplative way we can discover an increasing ability to offer more of ourselves and lives to God.

Come for one or all sessions. Don’t worry if you have no experience with this prayer style — just come and be a part of the group.
