Lower Level Classrooms
Grace’s Church School meets every week (except Easter Sunday) for children in preschool through middle school. Students join their families in the worship service in time to share Holy Communion. Along with our weekly classes, be sure to join us for these special events:
- Children’s Homily: Sunday, Feb. 7
Students are invited to the altar after Sunday school to learn how they can be a force for change this Lenten season.
- Trinity Hot Lunch Service Project: Sunday, Feb. 14
Elementary and middle school students work together to create special treats to distribute at Trinity Hot Lunch.
- Lenten Almsgiving for ERD
Students are encouraged to bring offerings to Sunday School each week in Lent to help us purchase flocks of chickens to give to families in need around the world through Episcopal Relief & Development.
- Children’s Stations of the Cross
Our Sunday school classes will take a journey through the Stations of the Cross to understand and appreciate the meaning of the Lenten season in an age-appropriate lesson (check with your teacher for date).
- The Sounds of Holy Week: Sunday, March 20
Church school teachers lead this fun, interactive lesson for elementary students on Palm Sunday.
- Easter Egg Hunt: Sunday, March 27 at 11:30 a.m.
All ages are invited to bring a basket and enjoy this
