by Angela Breeher, Parish Administrator

Grace’s Vestry is made up of lay leaders who work together with the clergy and staff to carry out the vision and business decisions of our parish. Vestry members are elected on a rotating basis to serve three-year terms. We will elect three new vestry members at our next annual meeting on January 25, 2015.

According to Diocesan Canons, you must be an adult communicant in good standing (faithful in corporate worship and faithful in working for and contributing to the spread of the kingdom of God) for at least one year to serve on the vestry.

We will also be electing one Diocesan Convention delegate and two Alternate Delegates at our annual meeting. In addition to being an adult communicant in good standing, these candidates must also be confirmed in the Episcopal Church.

A committee of outgoing vestry members and other members of the parish appointed by the rector is collecting names for our next election. If you would like to be considered or would like to nominate another member for a vestry or convention delegate position, please contact one of the following members: Philip Morrow, Kurt Feigly or Pam Fitzgerald (Chair).
