- About Grace
Summer Christian formation for children
On May 29, 2014
- Summer Nursery:
Sundays, 9:45 – 11:45 a.m.
Infants and toddlers (through age 4) are welcome in our supervised nursery on Sunday mornings. Parents should sign their children in and out and provide basic care needs (diapers, drinks, etc.).
- Children’s Chapel:
Sunday, June 22, July 27 and August 17 at 10 a.m.
Children’s Chapel is especially for pre-K and elementary-age children (older kids are welcome to be helpers). We’ll meet in LaVielle Conference Room for a special Bible story, songs and activities while the parents enjoy their time in the 10 a.m. worship service. We’ll join our families at the time of the Peace and share communion together.
- Camp Phoenix:
Sunday, July 27 – Saturday August 2
The Episcopal Diocese of Missouri sponsors this traditional sleep-away summer camp for children ages 8 to 15 in DuBois, Illinois. Make new friends, see old friends again, and try new things together like canoeing, horseback riding, archery, campfires and all-camp games. Camp Phoenix is also a place where you can get to know God better; through daily reflection, spending time in nature, and by “seeking and serving Christ in all persons, loving your neighbor as yourself…” Get more information about the camp at www.camp-phoenix.org.
