PageLines- gracefrontdoors250.jpg“Greeters” are oftentimes the first person a visitor to Grace Church meets on Sunday morning.  A warm and friendly greeting might be all that is needed to reassure a visitor that they have found a new church home.  The role of a Greeter is to welcome and provide hospitality to a visitor, including simply helping them find their way in the building, escorting them to coffee hour and making introductions to other members of the parish.

On February 16, following the 10 a.m. service, current Greeters will gather for a brief review of greeting techniques and to garner suggestions from the group on how we can be even more of a welcoming presence and ministry.  If you are not already one of our Greeters but are interested in this important ministry of welcoming the stranger to our midst, please plan to attend this meeting or speak with Chris Kurth or Marty O’Leary.
