2013 Greentree floatYeehaw! Grace’s float wins a big blue ribbon in this year’s Greentree Festival!

Kirkwood’s Greentree Parade was held Saturday, Sept. 14. It began at 10 a.m. at Kirkwood High School and ended at the Community Center on Geyer Road.  Volunteers from Grace Church embraced this year’s “Wild, Wild West” theme with a “Grace-ful hitchin’ post” float, complete with cowboys, western music and even some dancing cacti! The presentation won 1st place for Best Interpretation of Theme.

Thanks to Rebecca Harrison, Chris Kurth, Jim Davis, Lucy Ryan and all the wonderful members who pitched in to help create the float and/or be a part of the parade Saturday morning.
