Transforming space for youth
On April 26, 2013
Rooms 13, 14, 15 and 16 in what is often referred to as the “SPROG hallway” on the lower level of our church are being transformed into one large room. The room will have an accordion divider in the middle to separate the space into two rooms when desired.
We’ll have comfy furnishings, game tables, a wide-screen TV and lots of space to have fun. The new youth room will be used for weekly Sunday school classes, various youth events and community meeting space throughout the year.
We express our sincere gratitude to Grace member Michael Gibbons, whose generous donation is making this transformation possible. The gift was made in memory of his wife, Folsta Gibbons, long-time member, Sunday school teacher and warden of this parish.
We also thank Jr. Warden Phillip Morrow for overseeing the details of this project.
