tour de food 2012 (2)

Fr. Todd McDowell blesses riders at the start of last year’s Tour de Food at Grace Church.

Join Grace Episcopal Church’s very own “RAGBRAI trained professional team” for an enjoyable morning of cycling and food on Grants Trail!

Adults and youth over 18, plus children above 12 if accompanied by a parent or guardian, are welcome. Bike and helmet required. We have two alternative routes (primarily on Grants Trail):  “Ramblers” enjoy a casual ride for 10 miles, and the “Striders” will ride at a brisk pace for 20 miles.

WHEN:  Saturday, June 15 at 7:30 a.m.
(rain date is Saturday, June 22)

WHERE:  Ride will start & finish from at Grace Church (columbarium area, in back of the church), 514 East Argonne Drive, Kirkwood.

PRICE:  $20 / person.

This is a great opportunity to experience what riding is all about: Food, fun, and fellowship! Plenty of food will be offered: coffee/juice/bagels at the start, pie & refreshments at mid-point, and a huge breakfast feast at ride completion.

The ride is organized and sponsored by Grace’s RAGBRAI riders and spouses. Event proceeds will benefit the Grace Episcopal Church Legacy Fund, with use designated for community outreach.

We encourage all bike enthusiasts in the community to join in the fun. Bring a friend!

Reservations are required, so please contact Ron Ryan in advance. Payment will be collected on the day of the event.

If you’re not a cyclist but would like to participate, please consider underwriting other riders. Your contributions will benefit others for years to come!
