Food drive honors mothers
On April 27, 2012

As food pantries experience record-high demands on their services, Mother’s Day is a perfect opportunity to honor or remember your mother, grandmother, aunt, daughter, sister, godmother, friend, boss, and/or employee by donating a bag of groceries.
Grace Episcopal Church is collecting food for Kirk Care. Empty grocery bags will be distributed after each worship service on April 22, April 29 and May 6. Food drive information, suggested donations and a form to honor or memorialize your special person(s) will be stapled to each bag.
Please return the memorial form to the office by May 8 so the names can be listed in the bulletin on Mother’s Day. Return the filled grocery bags on Mother’s Day — Sunday, May 13.
If you don’t have time to go shopping, you can also donate Shop ‘n Save gift cards or make a donation to Kirk Care.
Please join the Women of Grace and Grace’s Kirk Care board representatives in this simple way to honor your mother or other special person and also those in need on Mother’s Day. We will mail a card to each loved one in whose honor a donation is given, telling her of your gift.
