It’s springtime at Grace Episcopal Church and our youngest members are digging in to the new gardening season!

Sunday school children began planting seeds in our “Gardens of Grace” during class on March 11. With the help of teacher Sue Nixon, the young gardeners used toilet paper as a seed base to lovingly plant carrot seeds. The group will continue working in the garden on March 25 by planting radishes and lettuce. Proceeds from the garden’s harvest will go to our local food bank, KirkCare.

Visit Grace’s Creation Care Blog for more information about our Gardens of Grace (and other news). If you are interested in learning more or helping to care for the garden over the summer, please contact Sabine McDowell.
