Dismantling Racism Workshop
March 16 – 17
8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Holy Communion Church, University City

Dismantling Racism Commission leads a 14 hour training for the Diocese of Missouri. It is mandatory for clergy and wardens in the Diocese of Missouri, but open to every member and all Christians who wish to deepen their understanding of racism, prejudice, and privilege.

There is just one training scheduled this calendar year in the St. Louis metro area, and it is fast approaching. A summer training is planned for
Columbia, Missouri, details yet to be arranged.

The training has been described as engaging, challenging, supporting, uplifting; it is an intense two-day workshop which includes historic and
current material, multimedia, small groups, role plays, facilitated dialogue, and spiritual nourishment.

The training is free and includes lunch and refreshments. Space is limited to thirty participants and training will occur with a minimum of fifteen
registrations. New this year, childcare is offered, but only if reserved by registration deadline, Friday, March 9.
