Grace Episcopal Church was buzzing with activity on Sunday, Nov. 20.

The St. Louis Caledonian Pipe Band helped us celebrate our Scottish traditions with Kirkin’ of the Tartans.

The Advent Giving Tree was on display in our parish hall. Members are encouraged to pick and ornament and provide a gift for a family in need.

Our church school sponsored a delicious Advent breakfast and Advent wreath-making event. And Sunday school kids sold their special turkey cookies.

Grace’s youth group took orders for Butterbraids as a fundraiser for their mission trip.

The Women of Grace sold newly-published parish cookbooks titled “Cooking with Love and Grace.” The books feature hundreds of recipes from our members.

A homemade pie sale benefited Grace’s outreach ministries.

Children of all ages bought raffle tickets for a chance to win a fanciful Christmas tree specially decorated by the Fliss-MacRobie family, with proceeds going to the Diocese of Lui and a new set of vestments for Grace.

And, of course, we spent time in community giving thanks to God for all our blessings.
