Grace Episcopal Church is offering a rare opportunity to help us transform all our church ministries. Join us for the Magnetic Church Conference November 11 and 12.

This two-day event will show us creative ways to grow our church ministries and give us hands-on practical advice on becoming a more welcoming church. The conference is led by Andrew Weeks, an inspiring speaker and author who has presented this conference all around the world.

A small group from Grace Church heard Andrew speak at a conference in Chicago earlier this year, including our rector, The Rev. Todd McDowell. “We were so excited about it that we worked to make this happen here,” said Fr. Todd.

“The conference rekindled new enthusiasm in me for the work of welcoming and evangelism here at Grace,” said Parish Administrator Angela Breeher. “Andrew is one of the most charismatic and dynamic speakers I've ever heard.”

The conference begins Friday evening, when we will focus on spiritual issues to help us overcome our many negative images of evang

elism. Andrew will invite us into new creative ministries, not urge us to take on more tasks. He will challenge us to explore opportunities and deal with the frustrations we all experience.

Saturday features interactive sessions and workshops to give us practical ideas on presenting our church to the public, managing new member ministries, the ministry of greeting and internal communications.

The event is open to everyone within Grace and our community. Fr. Todd encourages all Grace members to attend this important conference!

Please register no later than Nov. 7 ($45 for Episcopalians /$50 for outside guests).
