Great music, food and fellowship were all on hand at Grace Episcopal Church for HabiJam 2011. The October 1 event raised money for the Episcopal Habitat Project, with helps fund Habitat For Humanity projects in the St. Louis area.

About 125 people attended the event, which featured three local bands: The Dixie Rhythm Kings, Avantis Nuovo and The After Hours Community Band. The music was accompanied by plenty of food and drinks. A silent auction helped bring in more funds for the good cause.

The Episcopal Habitat Project has a goal of raising enough money to fund an entire Habitat for Humanity House (approximately $65,000). The need for affordable housing in St. Louis continues to grow. Habitat for Humanity provides no-interest loans to qualifying families.

Thanks to Vince and Michelle Nicosia for helping to organize this great event!
